3D Studio Max (Sometimes Called 3DS Max or just MAX) software is a 3 Dimensional Vector graphics and animation, written by Autodesk Media & Entertainment (Formerly known as Discreet and Kinetix. The Software was Developed from its Predecessor of 3D Studio DOS, but for the Win32 Platform. Kinetix then joined the recent acquisition of Autodesk, Discreet Logic. The Autodesk 3DS Max 8 is expected to be available by the end of the year. This has been announced by Discreet at Siggraph 2005.
3DS Max is one software package that is most widely used today, due to several reasons such as the use of the Microsoft Windows platform, versatile editing capabilities, and many plugin architecture.
